ROAM is a running/walking “club” that began meeting in January
of 2005. Our “mission” is to achieve physical fitness through cardiovascular
exercise. We are co-ed and our members are diverse in age and fitness
levels.
Though majority of the members are runners, we recognize the
benefits of walking, hence we are “walker friendly”. We encourage
the team to participate in cardiovascular exercises for at least 30
minutes three times a week AND with the team on Saturdays. We meet
every Saturday (rain or shine).
